Breast Sensitive to Pollution Vehicles

Canada, Women living in large cities must be more diligent in checking the breasts. It's nothing other than cigarette smoke that can trigger breast cancer, women sexy organ is also sensitive to vehicle pollution.
Studies conducted by researchers from McGill University and the University of Montreal found the breast cancer cases will increase in areas of high pollution because the air contains many gases nitrogen dioxide (NO2). This makes the woman two times more vulnerable to breast cancer.
"We found an association between post-menopausal breast cancer and exposure to nitrogen dioxide, which is a marker for breast cancer-related pollution," said Dr. Mark Goldberg from the Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre in Canada, as reported from Dailymail, Friday (8 / 10/2010).
According to Goldberg, the risk of breast cancer will increase by about 25 percent with each increase in NO2 five parts per billion.
"In other words, women living in high areas of high pollution is almost two times more likely to develop breast cancer than areas with low pollution levels," explains Goldberg further.
Goldberg explains, not just NO2 polluting gases generated by exhaust gases from a car or truck, but there are also other gases, and particles and compounds associated with traffic. Some of these compounds can be carcinogenic.
"NO2 just a marker, not an agent karsonogenik the truth," Goldberg tungkas. Goldberg study results have been published in the journal Environmental Health Perspectives.
